Not only does Wexford have the best weather in Ireland, it also has some of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Ireland and the world.

While Wexford is a small and friendly  town with about 30,000 inhabitants it is a lively place with a variety of shops, bars and pubs for all tastes and ages, cafes, restaurants, internet cafes, Opera House, library and cinema. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the quays and the beautiful fishing boats. You can taste locally and freshly caught fish and seafood in many restaurants in Wexford and savour a pint of Guinness to the sound of a live, traditional Irish music session in any of the many pubs in town.

Don’t forget to visit Wexford GAA park to watch the traditional Irish sport of Gaelic Football and Hurling or try your luck betting at the Wexford Horse Races or Enniscorthy Greyhound Races.

The bus is the best connection from Dublin Airport to Wexford.

A private bus company provides a direct service to and from Wexford. The company is called Wexford Bus and departs from the coach park across from the Arrivals Hall (zone 14). The prices are €21.00 single and €32 return. The journey takes two hours and thirty minutes.

Are you planning to stay in Ireland for a longer time? If yes, you may like to apply for a Leap Card. A Leap card entitles you to fare reductions for Wexford bus town services and other Wexford bus routes.

Alternatively, there is a public service called Bus Eireann. The bus also departs from accross the Arrivals Hall. Due to the number of pick up points, this service can take up to 3 hours. The cost is €21:00 single and €32:00 return.

Is it your first time travelling on your own. Are you nervous about finding your own way to the coach park at the Airport?

From 2018 we are offering a MEET and GREET Service. A ‘Meet and Greeter’ will meet you at the Arrivals Hall and walk with you to the bus stop for buses to Wexford town. There is only a small fee of €35 which can be shared by friends arriving on the same flights. Please let us know if you would like to avail of our Meet and Greet Service.

From February 2018 The Slaney Language Centre will be located in the heart of Wexford town. Accommodation will be within walking distance. Shops, restaurants, cafes, library,opera house and cinema will just be around the corner.
