English Language Exams

We encourage our language students to prepare for and to take internationally recognized exams such as TIE, FCE, CAE or IELTS  and we registers our students with the appropriate exam centres in Ireland.
The Slaney Language Centre  keeps records of student names, exam dates and grades received.

It is mandatory for Non-EEU students attending the Academic Year Programme to take the TIE exam at the end of the course. The exam fee has to be paid together with the course tuition fee. On your first course day we will ask you to sign an agreement stating that you understand that the exam is mandatory and that you agree that you will sit the exam.
